Funeral Service for Eva Mae Franklin age 58 of Enid will be 11 am Friday at the First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eva was born May 24, 1955 in Lawton, OK to Auskin and Annie Phillips Marpel and passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Enid. She moved to Enid at an early age. She attended and graduated from Enid High School. Eva enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, singing and loved to be around her children and grandchildren. She was known as the Queen of the Parties.
Eva was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
Eva is survived by her daughters Carmalita(Willard) Jackson of Enid, Annie (J.W.) Franklin of Enid, and Brandy(Lamar) Ross-Larry of Baumholder, Germany 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, her mother Annie Baker of Enid, two sisters Pamela Hillmon of GA and Lorosa Richardson of Enid, four brothers Eugene Murry, Samuel Murry, Aaron Murry, and Terrance Miller all of Enid and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father’s Auskin Marpel and Paul Miller, a sister Regina Murry, grandchildren J. W. Watson IV and Tanyjah K. Hall.
