Graveside services for Connie Franklin age 82 of Enid will be 10 am Tuesday at the Enid Cemetery with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born January 22, 1930 in Enid to Julian P. Foulks and Raye Matheson and passed away March 30, 2012 at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, TX.
Connie grew up in Enid, where she attended and graduated from Enid High School. She attended Oklahoma A&M and later graduated from Phillips University.
Connie married Jessie Franklin on November 1, 1948 in Enid and he passed away November 9, 2004. Connie worked for CDSA as an administration assistant retiring in 1994. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an ardent fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and loved her French bulldog, Duke.
Connie is survived by her children; Lee Davies of Enid, Greg (Susan) Franklin, MD of Colorado Springs, CO, Suzanne (Jack) Hall of Escondido, CA, and Jeff Franklin of Lahoma, OK, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
