A Celebration of Life for Patricia Fothergill, 90, of Enid will be Thursday, January 12, 2017, 11:00 AM at The Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carrell E. Still officiating. Private interment will follow in the Enid Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home from 6 to 7 PM Wednesday. Patricia was born November 18, 1926, the daughter of William and Retta Murray and passed away January 9, 2017.
She was the youngest of five and attended Enid Public Schools. Patricia was united in marriage to Marion Fothergill July of 1944 in Enid and he preceded her in death in 1979. She was employed for several children’s clothing stores, later by Evans Drug Store, Mel’s Clothing Store and the Mail Room. Patricia was a member of the Willow Road Christian Church. She supported her children by being a home room mom, Cub Scout Den Mother and Blue Bird Leader. She served Garfield County as a member of the election board. She will be remembered for her smile, as a sweet caring person and hospitable to all.
Survivors include one son, Tim Fothergill (Denice) of Tulsa, a daughter, Kay Tatro (Greg) of Edmond, six grandchildren, Brenda, Tony, John, Holly, Tyler and Tricia, six great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Dina of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mike, two brothers and two sisters.
