A Celebration of Life Service for John C. Foster, Jr (JC)age 70 of Yale, OK formerly of Enid will be 3:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Terry Pope officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
John (JC) was born June 3, 1946 in North Long Beach, CA to John C. and Elsie L. Dillard Foster and passed away Sunday February 26, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital in Cushing, OK. He came to Cleo Springs at the age of 2. He attended and graduated from Cleo Springs Schools in 1964. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1964 and married his high school sweetheart Linda Failes on September 20, 1965. JC retired from the Air Force in 1986 after 22 years.He opened and operated Mr. Muffler in Enid and worked for Central Machine & Tool-P.T. Coupling. They moved to Wichita, Ks in 2001. and then to Yale in 2008 to be close to family.
JC is survived by his wife Linda, two sons; John C. Foster III and wife Becki of Yale and Jason Foster of Tulsa, two grandchildren, Justin and Jarrod Foster, two sisters; Loretta Gharib and Leota Randleman both of Enid and numerous nieces and nephews. He was passionate about spending time with his family and friends. You could always see him at his class and family reunions enjoying life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patty Wilcox and Oletta Pearcy.
The family has chosen Oklahoma Special Olympics for memorial contributions with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
