Susan Ford

In loving memory of Susan Diane Ford, we are saddened to announce her passing on April 11, 2024. She was born October 22, 1957 in Enid, OK to George and Caroline Cowan. She attended Pioneer schools for thirteen years, and graduated in 1976.

Susan married Mark Ford on June 22, 1985, they came together with a blended family, as they both had a child from a previous marriage; they had two daughters together, and adopted a teenage son in the family. They lived a great life out in the country, on the out skirts of Enid, for their entire marriage. She loved to swim in their pool, hang out in the hot tub, and camping with her grandkids in their camper.

Susan is survived by her husband Mark; mother, Caroline Cowan; children, Kristopher Ford and his wife Tina, Christy Thompson and her husband Eric, Michael Craft and his wife Debbie, Sarah Litzau and her husband Chris, and youngest daughter Carrie. Grandchildren, Ashliegh Harris, Michael Huggins, Brendan DeRion, Jillian Ford, Jayden Huggins, Tucker Ford, Ryleigh Thompson, Ethan Brueggemann, Zeke Thompson, Ella Brueggermann, Mark G. Ford; several great grandchildren; sister Cynthia Koehn and husband Michael; sister in law Christine Ford; niece, Hattie Bland; nephews Josh Koehn and Shannon Melrose. She is preceded in death by her father, George Cowan; father in law Geoffrey Ford; mother in law, Nancy Ford; and her brother Michael Cowan.

If you met Susan, she had a personality and a laugh you will never forget, she will be missed, until we see her again.

We will be holding a celebration of life party for her at her daughter Sarah Litzaus’ house on April 20, 2024 at 4:00PM. If you would like to attend, please reach out to her on Facebook, and Sarah will give you the address.
