Dennis Foos

June 19, 1942 — March 5, 2010

Dennis Gene Foos was born June 19, 1942 to Rue Simon Foos and Jean Lucille Foos at Medford, OK. He attended school at Jefferson, OK. He served four years with the U S Air Force. In 1965 Dennis returned to Enid, OK and began working for Enid Cablevision. This began his career in cable television. At the time of his death, Dennis was employed at Suddenlink Cablevision. In 2009 they presented him with a certificate of appreciation for 35 years of service.

In 1966 Dennis married Lorene Sanders. They had three children, Dennis Jr, Robert and Michelle. Dennis loved his wife and children and was faithful to always be there for them. His faith in God helped him to be a blessing to his family, relatives and friends. In later years his grandchildren, Nicholas, Trey, Delaney, Brayden, Joshua and Jacob filled his life with joy when they would say come on Grandpa, let’s play.

Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved God and was a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Christ, Crescent, OK.

Dennis will be greatly missed by all but not forgotten.

Surviving are his wife, Lorene of the home, two sons, Dennis Jr and his wife, Katie and children of Grand Junction, CO and Robert and children of Enid, OK; three sisters, JoAnn Peckham, May Mull and Patricia Foster; and one brother, Danny Foos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and his daughter, Michelle Ann Foos.

Services will be held, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Dr Edwin House will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairview/McKeeman Cemetery, Jefferson, OK. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
