A Celebration of Life for Gerald Fluman, 86, of Enid, will be Monday, November 14, 2016, 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral on Sunday from 6 to 7 PM. Gerald was born October 10, 1930, the son of Harold and Gertrude Moody Fluman and passed away November 9, 2016.
He was a graduate of Enid High School in 1948 and then attended Phillips University where graduated with a BS degree in education. He was united in marriage to Wilma Kegin in 1950 in Covington, OK. He was first employed by his father at the Fluman Body Shop. Gerald then pastored the Comberland Presbyterian Church in Goltry. Gerald taught history at Enid High School for 32 years until his retirement. He has been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1975 where he served as a greeter. He enjoyed making candy and gardening and also worked in the press box at the Enid High School Plainsman Field. He will be remembered as a godly man.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma, three grandchildren, Wesley Greinert, Kirsten Greinert and Shawn Greinert and two great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Diane Greinert.
