Anita Lynn Flaming

A Celebration of Life for Anita Lynn Flaming, age 60, of Ponca City, is set for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18th at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in Enid, OK, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating.

Anita was born December 6, 1959 in Enid to Bernard and Alberta (Regier) Flaming and passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. She was a 1978 graduate of Jet-Nash High School. Anita’s hobby was knitting. She worked at K-Mart and Tysons Chicken for several years in Enid OK, then moved to Broken Arrow OK where she worked at Sam’s Club. She moved to Ponca City in 2018, where she lived with her father until she passed. Hospice assisted her in her later days.

Anita is preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Flaming; brother, Eldon Flaming; and sister, Cheri Linthicum. She is survived by her father, Bernard Flaming, of Ponca City; 3 brothers, Daryl Flaming and wife Kathy, of Driftwood, Texas; Brent Flaming and wife Ludean, of Dyer, Nevada; Sam Flaming and wife Connie, of Alva, Oklahoma; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Anita’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of North Central Oklahoma (445 Fairview, Ponca City 74601), with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
