The funeral service for Roy L Ferreira, age 67, will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roy was born January 7, 1944 in Guthrie, OK to Frank H and Irene S (LaRue) Ferreira and passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid,. He was raised in Oregon and graduated from the Klamath Falls, Oregon High School.
He worked in the lumber mills in Oregon, then moved to Enid, OK in 1980. He was a truck driver in the oil field and later over the road trucker until his retirement in 2008.
He married Dolores Stone on November 6, 1993 in Reno, NV. She passed away June 1, 2010.
Survivors include one sister, Sylvia Lenk and Martin of Wentzville, MO; two brothers, Frank Ferreira and Cathy of Klamath Falls, OR and Don Ferreira and Robin of Klamath Falls, OR; three nephews, Tony Ferreira, Allan Ferreira, Jason Buschman and three nieces, Lisa Allen, Tammy Mckinnon and Andrea Ferreira; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolores and one brother, George.
