Graveside services for Jerry Farber, age 91 years, of Drummond, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Waukomis Cemetery with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jerry was born November 14, 1924 at McLoud, Oklahoma to parents Charlie and Faye (Russell) Clinard. She passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at The Commons in Enid.
Jerry was a graduate of McLoud High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in Home Economics. She taught school at McLoud High School and worked as a Home Economist in Oklahoma County and Kingfisher County.
She married Cecil Farber on April 26, 1953 and they lived and farmed southwest of Waukomis, OK for 26 years before moving to Drummond in 1979.
She was a long time member of the Liberty Family and Community Group and the Garfield County Rural Rotatory and is a long time member of the Salem Methodist Church of Drummond. She was also a long time member of the Enid Weight Watchers group of Tops and Cops.
Jerry had a love of growing flowers and working in her yard. She always had beautiful flower beds that she took great pride in.
Jerry is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Farber, her parents, brother Charles Clinard and sister Carol Clinard.
Survivors include her son, Brian Farber and wife Kim, of Drummond, a sister, Ruthie Carver of Grandbury, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Jerry’s name may be made to the Drummond Fire Department, or Furever Friends with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
