Thelma Evans

Funeral services for Thelma L. Evans age 81 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Saturday at
Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the
Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born August 6, 1929 in Kansas to Leo and Vina Dunbar Ward and
passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the Greenbrier Nursing Home. She
was raised in Kansas.
Thelma married Donald B. Evans on February 1, 1949 in Newkirk, OK and he
passed away October 31, 2009.
Thelma was a foster grandparent for Monroe Elementary and Waller Jr. High for
several years.
She is survived by her children: Sue and Frank Neal of Enid, Barbara and T. W.
Struck of Holiday, TX, Gary and Janet Evans of Duncan, OK, and Mark Evans of
Enid, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Steven, and two brothers Earl
and Arthur Ward.
