Larry E. Evans, 63, of Enid, died Saturday in Houston, Tx. at M.D. Anderson Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., October 7, 2011 in the Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Don Tines will officiate.
Larry was born June 19, 1948 the son of Jim and Evelyn (Burkhaulter) Evans in Seminole, Ok. He worked for William E. Davis-U. S. Food Company for 30 years, a job that he took to heart and loved so well. He loved living his life hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, cooking and talking for hours on end about food with his friends and beloved family.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Arnell of the home; two daughters, Rachel and Christa; stepdaughter Monique and stepson Chad; seven wonderful grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
One brother, Jerry and wife Carol; one sister Barbra and husband Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Evelyn Evans. He is loved and will be missed by many.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation cancer division in Larry’s Memory. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home will serve as Custodians of the Memorial Fund.
