The funeral service for Melodie Anne Ellis, age 64, will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Thorpe will officiate. Cremation arrangements are made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Melodie was born September 21, 1946 in Flagstaff, AZ to Carl Leonard and Laura Caroline Clara Arndt Nelson and died April 19, 2011 at the Greenbrier Nursing Home.
She worked as a CNA at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and the Living Center for 20 years. She was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children, Laurie Bell and husband Aaron of Enid, OK, Jennifer Fields and husband Robert of Enid, OK, two grandsons, Abram Bell and Ross Fields, cousin, Brad Danielsen and wife Brenda and aunt and uncle, Betty and Loren Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Relay for Life.
