Earl Ehlers, 62, of Lahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Enid. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Earl lived his life as a gentile, gregarious man with a generous soul. He had an ironic sense of humor and delighted in telling stories of human nature. Although not a veteran, he had a deep appreciation and regard for our nation’s military personnel. Friends and family will miss this man of open and honest sensibilities.
Born as the son of Roland “Pud” and Edna Mae Ehlers, Earl spent his life in Lahoma, leaving briefly to obtain his bachelor’s degree from OSU. He was a lifetime farmer and of late, was employed by Albright Steel and Wire.
Earl is survived by his wife Tammy (Scoles) Ehlers, to whom he was wed in 2000; sister, Gloye Gloudeman and husband Jeff, of Wichita, KS; niece Tori Elliott and husband Eric; nephew Chad Gloudeman; daughter Rachael Loscar and husband Josh; as well as three grandchildren, Aaron, Levi, and Gideon, of Ridgecrest, California.
