Funeral service for Noreita Kay Eggers, age 67 of Fairmont, OK, will be 10;00 am Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, OK with Pastor Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery with arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home from 6-7 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
Kay was born March 5, 1944. Her parents were Conard and Nora Schminke of Marshall, Oklahoma. She graduated from Covington High School and attended Oklahoma State University.
She married Ronald Eggers on July 20, 1963 and they made their home on a farm near Fairmont. She worked as an income tax preparer and later as a real estate agent.
She was active in the Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, LAF Group, and Vacation Bible School.
Kay is survived by her husband, Ronald, two sons, Rodney and wife Dawn of Louisburg, KS, Rick and wife Shyla of Stillwater, four grandchildren, one brother, John Schminke and wife Darla, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.ladusauevans.com.
