Alan L. Dunsworth, 47, met Jesus for breakfast early on September 28, 2010.

Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2 at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Jet OK. Arrangements are entrusted with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home

Alan was born March 31, 1963 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ivan LeRoy and Alice Mae Blackledge Dunsworth. He attended Harvard Public Schools before moving to Enid in 1974. He attended Enid High School before joining the work force.

Alan was a self-taught machinist and machine programmer working for many different companies over the years, most recently at Pioneer Machine, Central Machine and Tool in Enid and Apex Manufacturing in Houston TX. Alan was highly respected by his employers and employees.

Alan married Thelma Garrett Richardson and her son Derrick on December 1, 1984. Born to this union were two beautiful daughters, Kimberly Ann and Sarah Marie. Alan loved being a daddy to his children and he lives on in the life lessons he taught them. He was a talented, creative and generous person who never said a bad word about anyone.

Alan was preceded in death by his father, Ivan L. Dunsworth; 4 nieces and a nephew.

Survivors: Alan is survived by mother, Alice Anderson, daughter, Kimberly Jackson and husband Chris and their children Chloe and Ellie of Enid, daughter Sarah Dunsworth of Austin TX; their brother Derrick Richardson, of Austin; brothers Dwight (Kay), Gary (Tina), Dale (Jan) and sisters Dana Nance (Jim) and Brenda Carr (Patrick), 12 nieces and nephews, Danny Pugh, a friend who has been like a 4th brother, and countless other family and friends.
