Claudine C. Duncan, age 90, of Enid, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma. A private service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Claudine was born December 14, 1925 in Enid, to Claude Cockrell and Emma (Miller) Cockrell. She married Col. Marshall Rae Duncan on November 18, 1944 in Rockwall, Texas. Claudine became a proper military wife, traveling the United States, Europe and Japan with Marshall, before his eventual retirement in 1972. Claudine enjoyed dancing, shopping, going to casinos, dining out, and going to Branson, MO to see live shows. She loved her dog Dolly, who provided her with much love and companionship. Claudine was very proud of her family, in particular her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her later years she was especially close to Karli. They spent a great deal of time together.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Duncan, and a daughter, Nikki Priestley.
Claudine is survived by a grandson, Anthony Priestley, of Las Cruces, New Mexico; great grandson, Marshal Priestley of Enid, Ok and great-granddaughter, Karli Priestley of Edmond.
