The memorial service for H. Price Dosier, Jr., 88 of Enid will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Golden Oaks Village Chapel, 5801 N. Oakwood Rd., Enid, OK.
H. Price Dosier, Jr. was born July 9, 1922, to H. Price Dosier, Sr. and Alice Wells Dosier in Weatherford, TX and died, August 9, 2010, at his home in Golden Oaks Village in Enid, following a short illness.
Price married Janice Wheatley on January 27, 1945. They had 65 wonderful years together. Price volunteered September 1942 to serve in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He operated a CPA practice for over 50 years in the Michigan and Texas areas.
Price was a member of the Bowie United Methodist Church and served in various positions including Board Chairman and church auditor. He and his wife Janice moved to Golden Oaks Village in June of 2009 after living in Bowie for 32 years. He was a member of American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan and Texas Society of CPAs. He was known by IBM as developing the first fully integrated computerized accounting system.
Survivors include his wife, Janice, one son, Trip of San Francisco, CA and one daughter, Cheryl and husband Richard Newell of Vernon, TX; one granddaughter, Marci and husband Robert Hyde of Burlington, OK, one grandson, Jason and wife Sheila Watkins of Enid, OK. His four great grandchildren are Bayli Hyde, and Kelsey, Kalley and Kolton Watkins, nieces, Marcia Darby and Mary Jane Johnson, Amarillo, TX.
Cremation and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Golden Oaks Village Chapel or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
