The funeral service for Lora “Annette” Dosh, age 66 will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev Wade Burleson will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Annette was born December 30, 1943 in Fox, OK to W C and Vonette (Riley) Owens and died May 21, 2010 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She graduated from the Fox High School in 1961.
She moved to Enid in 1969. She worked at Kay’s Drapery and then for Gary Hulse. She married John Dosh on July 1, 1985 in Enid. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. They moved to Burns Flat in 1997 and then to Duncan in 2002. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Duncan, OK.
She is survived by her husband, John, sons: Ron Jackson of Hennessey, OK and Kent Jackson and wife Donna of Wichita Falls, TX; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers, C.A. Owens and wife Donna of Healdton, OK; Ralph Owens and wife Angie of Fox, OK; and mother, Vonette Owens of Duncan, OK.
She was preceded in death by her father, W C Owens and sister, Becky Owens.
