Funeral services for Zelda Dodd, 90, of Enid, will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 2:30 PM at The Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Mr. R.G. Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Dodd passed away July 8, 2012.
Zelda was born April 17, 1922 in Tomaha, OK the daughter of James and Maxie Mae White Boggs. She spent her early years in Sallisaw, OK. She was united in marriage to Willard V. Dodd June 12, 1938 in Sallisaw, OK. and he preceded her in death May 24, 2008.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, OK.
Survivors include one daughter, Lona Mae McClendon of Enid, a grandson, Randy McClendon and his wife Sue of Enid, two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Kayci McClendon, other family members and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Boggs and a son-in-law, J.T. McClendon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the Fund.
