The graveside service for Blanche Dixon, age 92 will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. There will be a time of visitation Tuesday, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Blanche was born February 4, 1920 in Wheatland, OK to Stanley and Agnes Krivanek Novak and died February 19, 2012 in Enid, OK.
She married Leon Dixon April 27, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away, July 9, 2008. She worked as a real estate agent for 20 years in California. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. After living in Oklahoma for several years they moved to California where they lived until retirement. After retiring, they lived in Oregon, South Carolina, Arkansas and then Enid, OK.
Survivors included nephew, Paul E Maly of Garber, OK, five nieces, Pauline Noteware of Paris, TX, Helen Shriver of Enid, OK, Sherry Cullison of Oklahoma City, OK, Jeanine Hickerson of El Reno, OK, Celyn Pendleton of Mobile, AL; sister, Otilla Maly of Garber, OK and a host of nieces and nephews and other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon; two brothers, Victor Novak and Cleo Novak and one sister, Elsie Mae Truhlar.
