David Oldham

A graveside service for David Lee Oldham, age 73, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

David Lee Oldham came into the world on August 21st, 1951, and went to Heaven on October 26th, 2024.

David was raised at Billville near Fairmont, OK, with four siblings, by his loving parents. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 1975. That same year, he and his brother began their automotive shop, Oldham Brothers Automotive, which they ran for over 45 years. David was also a farmer, working the land, planting & harvesting crops, and keeping cattle. In 1984, he married the love of his life, Lynda Fern Montgomery, and in 1987 they welcomed their daughter Lindsey into the world. David was extremely hardworking & stayed busy between the farms and automotive shop, but he always made time for his family & friends. David would fix your tractor, give you the shirt off his back, & tell you a joke to lift your spirits. He was truly so smart & kind. David excelled at most things he tried. He loved country dancing, animals, fly fishing in Colorado, racing cars, being outdoors, helping others, and being with family & friends.

We miss him so much already.

David is survived by his daughter Lindsey; brothers, John, Bill, & Robert, sisters in law Marsha Kay and Susan, and many friends and extended family members. David is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret, and his wife Lynda.

Memorial Contributions in David's name may be made to Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
