A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Thelma L. Crabbs, 102, of Enid, will be Friday, February 6, 2015, 2:00 Pm at the Christian Church of the Covenant with Pastor Pat Sutherlin officiating. The interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Thelma was born April 30, 1912 in Harwood, MO the daughter of George and Minnie Roach Hutchison. She was united in marriage to Andrew J Crabbs May 14, 1928 in Medford and he preceded her in death April 1, 1982. She was the Secretary-Treasurer and part owner of Crabbs Transport, Inc. for many years. Thelma was a Charter member of Hite Boulevard Christian which became the Christian Church of the Covenant, where she taught Sunday school, CWF and was a member of the board. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, gardening and was a member of the Garden Club. She was an avid artist and her paintings hang in many of her families homes. Her animals were a very important part of her life.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Corbin and her husband Eddie of Enid, two sons, Glenn Crabbs and his wife Linda of Enid, James Crabbs and his wife Sandra of Enid, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Stella Gray.
