A celebration of life for Betty Cox, 83, of Enid, will be 2:00p.m., Monday, October 14, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Pastor Carrell Still officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Betty Nadine (Van Hauen) Cox was born August 9, 1936 in Kuna, Idaho to Stephen and Dorothy Van Hauen and passed away October 9, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma. On November 14, 1958 she married the love of her life, Don Cox and together they had two sons. Betty worked at Woolworth, TG&Y, Bond Bakery, and Farmland Industry. She was a member of Willow Road Christian Church for many years. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren (see ya later alligator). She enjoyed watching NASCAR, Big Brother, and listening to Polka Music.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Steven Cox, of Enid and Randy Cox and wife Melissa, of Fort Worth, TX; two grandchildren, Brennan Cox and wife Cherice, of Denton, TX and Karli Cox, of Fort Worth, TX; great-granddaughter, Sawyer Cox, of Denton, TX; two brothers, Stephen Van Hauen, Jr. and wife Jackie and Jack Van Hauen and wife Patricia; sister-in-law, Kay Cox; brother-in-law, Jim Lane; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Juan Cox; her parents, Stephen and Dorothy Van Hauen; her sister, Kay Lynn Parrott.
