Of Hillsdale, Oklahoma, entered the presence of the Lord on Friday, January 6th, 2012 at the age of 49. Kay was the wife of Dr. Robert Courtney for 27 years. She has 6 children, Philip (wife Jessica, grandson Nate) of USAF, (Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City), Joshua, Carralee, Abigail, Megan, and Paul (all of Hillsdale). Kay graduated from LaPorte (Indiana) High School in 1981 and Moody Bible Institute (Chicago) in 1984. She was a homemaker and pastor’s wife, serving with her husband at churches in Birmingham, AL, Butler, IN, Rogers, AR, Warsaw, IN, and Hillsdale, OK.
Kay is survived by her husband, children, grandson, 2 brothers: Kevin (wife, Teresa) Shuter & Kip (wife, Sandi) Shuter, both of Indiana, and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services are planned for Tuesday, January 10 at 6:00 PM at the Hillsdale Bible Church and Saturday, January 14 at 3:00 PM at the Community Bible Church of Warsaw, Indiana. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
