A Celebration of Life and Remembrance service for Bruce James Couch, age 64, will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Enid, with Tim Taylor officiating. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 29th, with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Visitation for Bruce will be Tuesday, July 28, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid.
Bruce was born August 27th, 1950 in Oklahoma City to James Couch and Juanita Chappell Couch and he passed away July 25th, 2015 in McKinney, TX. He was baptized at age 6 in Colorado by Pastor Eddie Scroggins. He was raised in Grand Junction, CO and graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1969. This is where he was introduced to his love of snow skiing. He taught his 5 children to love skiing through many vacations all over Colorado and New Mexico on the slopes. Bruce was an excellent businessman and loved spending time with people. He won numerous awards and trips throughout his career in management. He married his beautiful red head, Brenda Hall February 12, 1988. They enjoyed raising three boys living in Duncan and Enid. They attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid and purchased the State Beauty Supply Store in 2002. Brenda passed away in 2004.
Bruce is survived by his children: David and Carrie Couch of Burleson, Tx, Cindy and Cory Cloud of Celina, Tx, Andy Couch of Tulsa, Ok, Cooper Couch of Middlebury, VT, and Corbin Couch of Stillwater, OK. He has 5 grandchildren, Lauren and Ellen Couch of Burleson, Tx and Carson, Caiden, and Coleman Cloud of Celina, Tx. He is also survived by his father, James Couch of Lawton, OK, mother, Juanita Gordon of Norman, Ok, brother, Steve Couch of Norman, Ok and sister, Carol Couch of Denver, Co.
