The military graveside service for Leonard L Corn, age 80 will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 9:00 am at the Ft Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Leon went home to Jesus, January 11, 2010. He was born March 17, 1929 in Fay, OK to Leonard “Pop” and Gladys Corn. He grew up in Waynoka. He and Patsy O Walcott were married April 18, 1953.
He was a USAF veteran of 22 years serving in campaigns in Japan, Germany and Viet Nam. He also worked for Northop Corp as a jet engine technician at Vance AFB, Enid and at DaHaran Air Base, Saudi Arabia.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy; daughter, Patricia (Roger) Hoffman, of Wittenberg, WI; son, Michael (Glenda) Corn of Perry, OK; daughter, Pamela (Richard) Holt of Oklahoma City; brother, Robert (Linda) Corn of Amarillo, TX; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is dearly loved and will be missed terribly.
