The funeral service for Lionel L “Lonnie” Cope, age 30, will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Lonnie was born November 14, 1980 in Enid, OK to Teresa Cope. He passed away, Monday, August 1, 2011 in Enid. He grew up in Enid where he worked for several Enid residents.
Lonnie hung out at the Enid Speedway where he helped lots of Racing Teams. Lonnie attended First Baptist Church. He was an honorary conductor for the Enid Symphony in 2009 and 2010 for the July 4th concerts at Meadow Lake Park.
Survivors include his mother, Teresa Cope; grandmother, Arvilla Morrison; brother, Brian Roberts of Okmulgee, OK; sisters, Chrystle George, Tersena Roberts, Misty and Megan Kauffman; uncle, Daris Cope of Fairview, OK; aunt, Angie Leroux of Kansas City, MO and several other family and friends.
