Evelyn Collins

A Celebration of Life Service for Evelyn Mae Collins age 92 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Tuesday December 16, 2014 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Barry Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born March 29, 1922 in Fairmont, OK to Henry and Hulda Kindt Helberg and passed away Sunday morning at the Golden Oaks Nursing Home. She was raised in the Fairmont Community and attending school in Garber. She married Melvin J. Collins on November 4, 1945 in Fairmont. They moved to Enid in 1975. He passed away July 5, 1998. She worked for Safeway for a short period of time. She was a housewife.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandi Stiles and husband Rick of Oklahoma City and Rita Brown of Kremlin, son Terry Collins and wife Connie of Enid, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Oletha, a brother Kenneth, grandson Michael, and great grandson Maesyn.
