The funeral service for Allen R Coffman Jr, age 36 will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Keith Winrich will officiate. Graveside will be in Cherokee Cemetery, Cherokee, OK with Rev Tom Cooksey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Allen was born September 17, 1974 in Naples, Italy to Allen and Anke Hoffmann Coffman, Sr and died August 8, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was raised in Cherokee, OK and then Oklahoma City attending the Jefferson Middle School. He moved to Yukon where he attended Mustang High School. He worked in construction and industrial businesses. He worked for Atlas Steel in Edmond until he was injured on the job. He loved to play pool and his Pittsburg Steelers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee.
Survivors include his parents, Bud and Ann Coffman of Yukon; brother, Tom Coffman and wife Nadia of Yukon, OK; sister, Andrea Ross and husband, John of Midwest City, OK; the love of his life, Allison Murphree of Edmond, OK; grandmother, Genevieve Beavers of Enid, OK; two nieces, Sabrina and Ashley; two nephews, Dakota and John; one great niece, Keyona and two great nephews, Keyunta and Keiwan; three aunts and two uncles; several other family members; and his caregivers at OU Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, grandfathers, grandmother; aunt, Janice Webster and uncle, Butch Coffman.
