Sylvia L. (Kirkpatrick) Clark, age 88, of Enid, the youngest child of Archibald A. and Elizabeth (Schalle) Kirkpatrick, born on February 20, 1935, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
The children of Archie and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick grew up in difficult times, yet they were strong, loving and shared a special bond. She graduated from Kremlin High School in 1954. She worked for Clean Clothes Rental in Enid. She married Lawrence Clark, March 21, 1988 in Morrison, Oklahoma. She was a member of Emmanuel Enid Church.
Sylvia is survived by her nieces and nephews; Mary Kirts, Don (Nancy) Truman, Morita Truman, Terry (Teresa) Bese, Allen Bese, Larry (Alayna) Leppke, Rich Leppke, Joy (Ray) Duron and Steve Kirkpatrick. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence, six siblings and their spouses; Frances (Bob) Truman, Mary Ann (George) Bese, Louis (Joyce) Kirkpatrick, Dora Lee, Leo and Ida (Harry) Leppke.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital and Greenbrier Assisted Living Center for their care of Sylvia.
