A Funeral Service for Lorna F. Dupy Christian, age 74 of Enid, Oklahoma will be held Tuesday, July 19, at 10:00a.m. at the Dover Christian Church with the Rev. Fred Ford officiating. Burial will be at the New Home Cemetery, Loyal, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Lorna was born August 17, 1936, to Raymond and Iva Eubank Dupy, in the town of Dover Oklahoma. She attended school at the Dover local schools where she played on the girls basketball and softball teams.
In 1953 she met and married Lee Hawk and to this union were born 4 children: Randy Hawk, Janelle Hawk, Kathy Hawk Pitts and Marty Hawk Lynn.
Lorna worked as a grocery clerk in Enid for many years, such as Morris Thrifty Wise, Ideal, United and Safeway. She had many friends through her employment.
In 1981 Lorna met and married Dennis Christian in Ringwood, Oklahoma. They had 30 very happy years together, travelling the country and taking in the beauty of it. She loved reading, crocheting and attending sports events of her grandchildren.
Lorna was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Iva, and her dear little sister Raydena Luetjen Propp. She is survived by her children Kathy, Janelle, Marty, and Randy, Her husband Dennis, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
