Ruth Cessna

Ruth Cessna went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Wade Burleson will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, from 1:00 pm until service time.
Ruth was born to Reon and Arabelle Glessner, June 15, 1924 in Berlin, PA. She married Rev Robert Marshall Cessna on August 29, 1948 in Johnstown, PA. Ruth was a faithful and dedicated pastor’s wife, supporting Robert as choir director and soloist, secretary and Sunday School teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Robert of the home; three children, Cheryl Burtoft and husband John of Warsaw, IN, Marsha Juliano and husband Len of Enid, OK, and Carlton Cessna and wife Laurie of Gurnee, IL; six grandchildren, Johnny Burtoft, Joe Burtoft, Lenny Juliano, Jennifer Juliano, Michael Juliano and Nathaniel Cessna; one sister, LaVerne Trent, one niece Joyce Spangler; one great niece, Brittany Spangler, all three of Johnstown, PA; and many other friends and loved ones.
