The Mass of Christian burial for Vineta Otilta Fuksa Casteel, age79 will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10 am at the St Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Rev Larry Kowalski will officiate. Burial will be in the St Rosa of Lima Cemetery, Perry, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Vineta was born May 31, 1931 in Canute, OK to Leo and Margaret “Maggie” (Hoffman) Schneberger and died August 30, 2010 at her home.
She married Raymond R Fuksa on July 31, 1950. She then married Earl Casteel on July 8, 1983 at St Gregory’s in Enid, OK. She was a parishioner of St Gregory’s Church and member of the Moose Lodge. Vineta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Logan; two grandchildren, Shannon Sandmeyer and husband Rick of Kellyville, OK and Sean Logan of Enid, OK; two great grandchildren; brother, Eldred Schneberger and wife Patricia and sister, Mildred Pospisil and husband Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Raymond Fuksa, and second husband, Earl Casteel; brothers, Loyd and Lavern Schneberger,
