She met her husband of 60 years, Charles W Carroll during high school dance class. They were married on August 13, 1939 in the beautiful home garden of Albert and Kate Ford in Carrier.

Marcia and Charles loved dancing and taught both ballroom and tap. They also enjoyed fishing, gardening, family card games and Shriner’s Director Staff parade activities. Marcia’s favorite personal activities included painting, creating hooked rugs, crocheting, cooking for holiday family gatherings and bridge club. Marcia was a family dedicated mother as she was a leader for Blue Birds, Cub Scouts, Campfire Girls and a swim team “taxi mom.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, infant grandson, Troy Spurlin Carroll, brothers Carlton and Robert Boyington and loving companion, Wilbur Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Potter of Fort Collins, CO, son, Charles Jr (Buddy) and wife Lori and son Patrick all of Enid; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

In her memory, please plant a flowering bulb. She would like that and it would surely maker her smile.
