A funeral service for Richard L. Cagle, Jr age 55 of Enid will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at
the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Don Tines officiating. His body will be
cremated after the service with burial at later date.
Richard was born January 11, 1956 in Enid to Richard L. Cagle and Hazel Henry
and passed away Saturday January 22, 2011 at his home. He attended Enid
Public Schools where he graduated in 1974. On January 10, 1982 he married
Tonya Panhorst in Enid, OK . He worked as a derrick hand in the oil field for
Lanunim Oil ,Logan Drilling, and for Quad Drilling. He was an amateur boxer and
middle weight champion in three states. Richard loved to fish and playing golf.
He will always be remembered as a loving and caring dad. He would always do
things for people in need, and would always help others before taking care of his
own needs.
He is survived by his children; Chelsey Pike, Josh, Jimmy, Chad, Jason Cagle all
of Enid; 4 grandchildren: Cody and Ricky, Briley, Brayden, Brooklyn Pike and Mia
Cagle, two sisters, Rose Hughes, Nancy Cagle; two brothers, David and Daniel
Cagle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
