A Celebration of Life Service for Robert A. “Bob” Bush, age 64, of Seiling formerly of Enid will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Seiling High School Auditorium with Rev. Orville White and Rev. Dennis Adair officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bob was born March 6, 1950 in Hastings, NE to Dr. Robert and Coith Fields Bush and passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Bob moved to Seiling at a young age where he attended and graduated from Seiling in 1968. He attended the University of Oklahoma and transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma State University graduating in 1972. He earned his masters degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and completed his administration certification through the University of Oklahoma. Bob worked as a coach, principal, and superintendent at Waurika, Elmore City, Walters, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, and Seiling schools. He served on the CCOSA, OROS, and OSSAA Boards.
Bob is survived by his wife Sandy of the home, daughters Jennifer Buller of Enid and Nicole Bush of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Annabella Nicole Lee(Bells) Buller, Jeremee Buller, and Kailee Buller; two sisters, Kim Humphries of Thomas, OK, and Kathy Cooper and husband Jerry of Checotah, OK, nephew Eric Werfelman and niece Erin Cooper, sisters-in-law, Karen Callaghan of Norman and Mary Garvin and husband Jim of Richmond, VA and nephews Andrew, Charles, and niece Kathryn Garvin and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert A. Bush and Coith Bush of Seiling and Thomas.
Memorials may be made to OMRF- Heart or Cancer divisions with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
