Mitchell Burke

Graveside Service for Mitchell J Burke, 78, of Enid, will be Saturday, August 17, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Lesly Broadbent officiating. Services under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Mitchell was born August 6, 1935 in Green Bay, WI the son of Joseph and Marion Sobieck Burke and passed away August 10, 2013. He came to the Enid area when he was stationed at Vance Air Force Base in 1955. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Warkentine December 9, 1955 in Fairview, OK. He was employed by the YMCA and later for George Failings. He had many hobbies, collecting coins and working on his computer.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann, two daughters, Pam Reynolds of Olathe, KS and Debbie Ward and her husband Mark of Stillwater, OK, a son, Wesley and his wife Janet of Tomball, TX, two grandsons and three great-grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
