Celebration of Life service for Delbert Bruce Buller, age 76, of Enid, will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.
Delbert was born February 20, 1938 in Enid, to parents John E. Buller and Marie (Janes) Buller.
Delbert had many interests, one of which was drag racing. He was very successful at it, winning many races in the Wichita, Kansas area. He was a master mechanic and spent many hours in his garage. He often said his “garage was his castle”. As well as his talent working on cars and motorcycles, he was also a skilled carpenter and crafted many kinds of furniture and objects from wood. He was a real outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Buller, and sister, Norma Buller.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol, of the home in Enid, mother, Marie Buller, of Hesston, KS; son Scott Buller, of Red Oak, TX; daughter, Marcy Lagree and husband Monte, of Newton, KS; daughter, Judy DeWitt and husband Ed, of Hesston, KS; six grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
