Glennace Buckles

Graveside services for Glennace Buckles, 96, of Enid, will be Monday, March 11, 2013, 2:00 PM at the Enid Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating.

Glennace was born Nov. 29, 1916 in Oakwood OK the daughter of Alfred and Stella Eis Chain and passed away March 9, 2013 at her residence. She was united in marriage to Ira Buckles Dec, 24, 1933 in Oakwood, OK and he preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1970. She was employed by St. Mary’s Hospital for 22 years. Her hobbies included gardening and oil painting.

Survivors include two sons, Dwight Buckles of Enid and Jerry Buckles of Perry, OK, six grandchildren, Brian, Beverly, Bobby, Melanie, Jayme and Ellen, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Romayne Baker of California and Phylis Brockman of Nebraska. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Janice Manley Cowan, a brother, Eldon Chain and two grandchildren, Mark Manley and Blake Buckles.
