James Brown

James D. Brown, of Enid, Oklahoma, formally of Elmira, Oregon passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday evening September 22, 2023, with his loving wife Kathryn, of 60 wonderful years by his side. Jim is survived by his wife Kate; three children, Ronald (Gay), Jeffrey (Tana), Kibby (Marty) and “grafted” son, Brian (Marjie) Thomas. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive him. Jim was a part of the Eugene Masonic Lodge, The Scottish Rite, Umpqua Muzzleloaders and while in Enid, Oklahoma, was a member of the Willow View Global Methodist Church.

Jim enjoyed sports of all kinds, and devoted his professional life to teaching the students at Elmira High School.
