Funeral services for Arlo W. Breitenkamp age 74 of Fairmont will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont with Rev. Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
He was born August 17, 1936 in Enid, OK to Arnold and Ida Sattelmeier Breitenkamp and passed away December 24, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was raised in Fairmont and graduated from Garber High School. He entered the U. S. Navy in 1958 and was discharged in 1962. He married Patsy Stapleton in July 1958.
Arlo drove a truck for R.C. Bottle Co and Gold Spot Dairy and later worked for the Fairmont Coop.
He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was a member of the Roadrunners Square Dance Club.
Arlo is survived by his children Terry and his wife Cathy Breitenkamp of Enid and Lynn Lindell and husband Daryl of Pond Creek, two grandchildren James and Jeffrey Lindell, two brothers Harlo Breitenkamp and his wife Carol and Gene Breitenkamp and his wife Cathy both of Fairmont and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
