A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Darlene “Narne” Brazell, 76, of Enid, will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Garriott Road Church of Christ with Mr. Ray Rose, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in the Covington Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Darlene was born June 22, 1938 in Lucien, OK, the daughter of Albert and Lois Burns Powell and died September 10, 2014 in Enid OK . She was united in marriage to Price Brazell in 1954 in Newton, KS. She was a manager retired from Southwestern Bell in 1979. She was loved by all of her family and will be remembered as a very sweet person.
Survivors include two sisters, Linda Goddard and her husband Joe, of Edmond, OK and Nancy Thompson of Covington, OK, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Price, a son, Greg Brazell, her parents and a brother, Wayne Powell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or OMRF, Cancer division with Ladusau-Evans custodian of the fund. Condolences may be made online at ladusauevans.com.
