Funeral services for Kimberly Dawn Bowlin, age 59, of Enid, are 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber with Pastor Mark Hein officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Kim was born September 16, 1961 in Enid to Donald and Rose (Maly) Evers, and passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Enid.
She graduated from Chisholm High School with the class of 1979. She attended St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas where she completed her associate’s degree. She married James Bowlin August 20, 1988 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Enid. She completed her education at Butler Community College, in El Dorado, Kansas where she completed her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She worked at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, and Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Enid, then joined the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber in 2000. She enjoyed watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, she also enjoyed fishing and bird watching. She loved growing all kinds of flowers and plants. She was involved in the activities at the hospital, such as Relay for Life. She enjoyed trips with her grandchildren to Winchell’s Donut House every Saturday.
Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Rose Evers. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Bowlin, of Enid; five children; Jeremy Bowlin of Winfield, KS; Cody Bowlin of Winfield, KS; Jennifer Stowers and Matt, of Garber; Stephanie Bowlin of Enid; Johnathan Bowlin and wife Ciarra, of Enid; three grandchildren, Alice Rose Stowers, Isabella Bowlin and Ryder Bowlin; brother, John Jay Evers, of Enid; sister Brenda Andrew, of McCloud, OK; sister-in-law, DeAnn Titus and husband Will, of Newton, KS; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Memorial’s in Kim’s name may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
