Inez Boehm

Inez Payne Scheulen Boehm, age 103, died June 8, 2010 in Enid, OK. She was born in Marshall, OK, June 12, 1906 to Lulu May (Thomas) and Dennis Brooks Payne. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Enid. In 1934, she married Joe Scheulen and they lived in Hennessey and later on their farm southwest of town, before moving to Enid. After Joe’s passing, she married Herman Boehm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Joe Scheulen and Herman Boehm; her sisters, Almeda Abercrombie, Helen Cummins and Lily Farquharson, and brothers, Floyd Payne and Rumsey Payne, and nephews Tommy Payne, Harry Cummins, Jr and Bob Cummins.
She is survived by nieces, Ardith Abercrombie Ott (Gordon), Coni Cummins Blankenship (Brad), Margaret Payne Simon, Connie Payne Covington (Darryl), Almeda Susanne Payne Shanahan (Mike), and nephew Jim Cummins (Jacque), several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Enid. Rev Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home of Oklahoma, 3800 N May, Oklahoma City, OK, 73112 or First Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
