Thena Gayle Blowers, 55, passed away on January 15, 2013 after fighting breast cancer for six years. In her last few years, she cherished the opportunity to watch her youngest son finish high school and enjoyed spending time with her sons and granddaughters.
Born to Donald and Beverly Merett on May 27, 1957, Thena grew up in California and returned to Oklahoma in 1997 to be nearer to her family.
She is survived by her grandmother Bea Davis; her mother, Beverly; her three sons Kyle, Jeremy, and Louis; and three granddaughters Brionna, Astrid, and Beatrix.
Graveside service will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 3:30 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery Maulsoeum. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Condolences may be made online at www.ladusauevans.com
