Memorial services for Frank W. Blecha, 95, of Enid will be Friday Sept. 14, 2012, 2 PM at The Golden Oaks Chapel, 5801 N Oakwood, Enid, OK with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Friends may call at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home until 1:00 PM Friday. Private interment will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, OK. Mr. Blecha passed away Sept. 8, 2012.

He was born Dec. 13, 1916 in Perry, OK, the son of Frank J. and Mary Peshek Blecha. Frank attended A and M College in Stillwater. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. Frank served 27 months in the China-Burma and India Theater and was attached to the Burma Road Engineers as the main demolition man. He was united in marriage to Patsy Ruth Honeywell in Nov. 1957. He then was united in marriage to Bernita May Rainey May 7, 1976 and she preceded him in death in March, 2004. He spent most of his life farming and working for John Deere Company as a mechanic. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Enid and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his daughter Brenda Lieber and her husband James of Tulsa, OK, three sons, John Rainey and his wife Dorothy of Enid, OK, Carl Goforth and his wife Carol of Chicago, IL and Steven Goforth and his wife Vicki of Billings, OK, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, two brothers and two sisters.
