Graveside service for Arlo Becker, age 94, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Karoma Cemetery in Goltry, Oklahoma with Reverend Kevin Choate officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Arlo was born on February 26, 1926 in Ringwood, OK on the family farm, to Clarence and Ada (Unruh) Becker and passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Arlo joined the Marine Corps during WW II and fought in the battle of Okinawa; one of the bloodiest battles in the South Pacific. He married the love of his life, Joyce Smith at the Bible Baptist Church of Enid in 1950. After their marriage, they moved to Detroit, MI for five years before eventually returning to Enid.
Arlo is survived by his son, Timothy Becker and wife Becky, of Beaver, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, granddaughter Erin Rebekah Nickell and husband Clint; grandson Samuel Sebastian Becker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Joyce Becker; and two grandsons, Andrew James Becker and Jameson Timothy Becker.
Memorial contributions in Arlo’s name may be made to Beaver County EMS or Panhandle Services for Children with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
