Josephine Batchelder

Memorial services for Josephine Batchelder, 83, of Enid, will be Saturday, March 25, 2017, 2PM at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Josephine was born February 14, 1934 the daughter of Grover and Zona M. Mayse Myers and passed away March 16, 2017.

Josephine was a graduate of Enid High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Richard O. Batchelder on Christmas day 1952 and he preceded her in death February 17, 2017. She was long time member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and selling her crafts at shows across Oklahoma and Kansas. Josephine will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include four children, Rhonda Doss and husband Dave of Enid, Pearl Jokerst and husband Joe of Enid, Rene Bohn and husband Greg of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado and Richard Batchelder and wife Lisa of Stillwater, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Youth Ministry or the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation with Ladusau-Evans custodian of the funds. Online condolences may be left and viewing of the service at www.ladusauevans.com.
