A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Norma Jean (Bradley) Barton, 87, of Enid, will be Monday, February 9, 2015, 10:00 AM at the Garland Road Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Teague officiating. Interment will follow in the Pond Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Norma was born August 24, 1927 in Jefferson, OK the daughter of Harry and Elsie Eckleberry Bradley and she passed away February 7, 2015 at her home. Norma was a graduate of the Enid Business College and was later employed as a Technical Secretary with a metal manufacturing company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she served in the church pre-school for over 35 years. She will be remembered as a kind, caring and loving person to her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Harlan Wayne Barton and his wife Debbie of Anna, TX and Dr. Dennis Ray Barton and his wife Janey of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren, Michael Barton and his wife Debbie, Melissa Taylor and her husband Tim, Patrick Barton and his wife Stephanie and Jessica Barton, five great grandchildren, a brother Charles Bradley of Tuttle, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
The family wishes to express special appreciation to Sheri Monkers and Shirlene McKee and to the Hospice Circle of Love for their special care and support.
